A 1:1 ratio at this chemistry needs about 15 elements for a full-strength, on-ratio bond. Wider ratios need more elements to fold the streams together; 1:1 needs the fewest. GE’s installation data notes that fewer than 30 elements may not always look streak-free even when full adhesion and mechanical properties are already met — so visual mix is not the same as bond strength.
